From Questioning Coaching to Speaking at ICF

The Power of Growth, Reflection & Real Leadership

From Questioning Coaching to Speaking at ICF

There’s something beautifully full-circle about this season of my life.

Next Monday, I’ll have the honor of speaking at the International Coaching Federation (ICF) about coaching, leadership, and the personal breakthroughs that transformed my journey.

What makes this especially meaningful is this:

There was a time when I genuinely asked myself,

“Do I really need coaching?”

Funny, right?
Because today, coaching others is part of the work I deeply love and feel called to do.

Life has a way of surprising us.

At one point, I believed coaching was only for people who were struggling or stuck. What I discovered instead was that coaching creates space not just for healing or problem-solving but for clarity, confidence, emotional awareness, and deeper purpose.

One of the biggest breakthroughs I experienced was realizing that the parts of myself I once labeled as “saboteurs” weren’t actually against me.

In the right setting and at the right time, those same parts became signals, protectors, and teachers.

That realization changed the way I lead, coach, communicate, and show up in life.

And honestly? These are the conversations we need more of.

Not just in coaching spaces but in leadership spaces, workplaces, homes, and communities.

Because leadership is not just about strategy.
It’s about self-awareness.
It’s about emotional intelligence.
It’s about becoming more human while helping others grow too.

That’s why I continue sharing these conversations through my podcast, newsletter, posts, coaching, workshops and YouTube channel.

🎙️ New podcast episodes are now live, and I’d truly love for you to tune in and subscribe.

I know many of you listen consistently, send encouraging messages, and share how these conversations are helping you reflect differently on leadership, growth, and life.

Thank you. Your support means more than you know :)

As I continue building this platform and community, I’d like to ask a small favor:

If the Glimpse of Growth podcast have brought value to you, would you take a moment to subscribe to the podcast and YouTube channel?

Your subscriptions, comments, and shares don’t just help the platforms grow they encourage me to keep showing up and sharing the leadership insights, emotional intelligence conversations, and growth lessons that I truly believe we all need right now.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me.

And if you’ve ever wondered whether coaching is “for you,” perhaps the better question is:

What might become possible if you gave yourself permission to grow?

See you soon significant one!

Give Yourself a Deadline. Hello, Beautiful People. Last week, I had coffee with a family friend. She's worked for the same organization for over 21 years. Twenty-one years. As we talked, I asked her a simple question: "How are you really doing?" She paused. Then she looked at me and said something that stayed with me. "Dr. Dale... I'm tired." Not tired because she doesn't love what she does. Actually... She still loves the work. She loves serving people. She loves making a difference. What...

"Little Habits" Big Mistakes There’s something I want you to sit with today. What if that thing you keep saying: “I need to stop doing that…” …is no longer “just a little habit”? What if it has quietly become: a pattern a comfort zone a coping mechanism or even a lifestyle you’ve unconsciously perfected over the years? Because after a while… 👉🏽 Repeated behavior stops being accidental. It becomes a choice we continue choosing. And that’s not judgment. That’s awareness. Sometimes we minimize...
